Starting the school year with a camping tradition
Four the last five years, Indian Valley Academy has started out the school year with a three-day campout to reiterate ground rules, school culture and make sure those new to the school and those who are seniors get acquainted.
This year’s campout, from Aug. 30 to Sept. 1, was held at Taylorsville Campground — just up the road from the new location of Indian Valley Academy on Main Street in Taylorsville.
