Still time to decorate a snowman and receive a free book
The windows of the Plumas County Library in Quincy are becoming a lot more colorful as local youth submit their decorated snowmen in exchange for a free book. And apparently it’s happening at the branches across the county as well.
The Plumas County Library is providing free books for youth up to 18 years old. The books are new with a wide variety of types and titles.
All children are invited to pick up a page to decorate at their local library or print a copy form the Library webpage https://plumascounty.us/2672/COVID-19. The kids can decorate the hat and mittens as they see fit with whatever supplies they have on hand. Then they can return it to their local library during curbside hours and receive a free book of their choice.
Each day children may pick up a new page and return it for a free book. One page per day equals one book per day. Coloring pages can be returned through Dec. 31.
