The Eastern Plumas Angel Program was a success

The Eastern Plumas Angel Program (EPAP) has completed its “wrap up” and declare the program a success!

For the 10th year, children in need received gifts, books, and jackets for Christmas, with 132 children in Eastern Plumas County served.

This program could not operate without the following people, businesses, and organizations: Barnes & Noble, City of Portola, Graeagle Market, Holy Family Catholic Church, Jan Tew, Leonard’s Market, Mohawk Community Resource Center, Mill Works, Portola Family Resource Center, Plumas Sierra Rural Electric, Plumas County Sheriff Dept., 7-11, Walmart and, of course, the incredible generosity of the community for providing gifts and monetary support for the children!

The EPAP committee consisted of Carolyn Blom, Linda Cooley, Michael Looney, Pat Morton, Dink Rife, Valari Simison, Pat Symons and Lori Tate.
