The Feather River Community Fund is seeking grant applications
Ken and Marsha Roby of Greenville, have started a foundation called the Feather River Community Fund.
“The goal of Feather River Community Fund is to help sustain and improve the capacity of rural communities of the Northern Sierra-Cascades region,” said Marsha Roby.
The Feather River Community Fund is requesting proposals from individuals, organizations, and businesses (including start-ups) who seek to improve the community capacity, vitality, economy, or environment in Plumas County.
Due to the impact of recent fires, proposals with the intent of addressing post-fire needs will be given priority. The Fund intends on providing one or two grants of $5000 to $10,000.
Interested parties should complete the application available at (https://featherrivercommunityfund.org) or by calling (530) 394-7095.
Applications are due on October 15. Awards will be made on November 15.
Questions should be directed to Feather River Community Fund’s secretary Marsha Roby at the phone number above.
