The Portola Family Resource Center is open for those in need
Good news! The Portola Family Resource Center, located at 165 Ridge Street, will be open to serve those in need Wednesday, March 29 and Thursday, March 30 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Hours for next week will be Monday, April 3 and Wednesday, April 5 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. According to Plumas Crisis Intervention and Resource Center Executive Director Scott McCallum, regular hours will be available Wednesday, April 5 for the balance of the month moving forward. “We have been dealing with a lack of funding and staffing, which has created this temporary closure. We are happy to be able to reopen with limited hours,” McCallum said.
