The Portola Family Resource Center, located at 165 Ridge Street, will be open to serve those in need Wednesday, March 29 and Thursday, March 30 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Hours for next week will be Monday, April 3 and Wednesday, April 5 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. According to Plumas Crisis Intervention and Resource Center Executive Director Scott McCallum, regular hours will be available Wednesday, April 5 for the balance of the month moving forward. “We have been dealing with a lack of funding and staffing, which has created this temporary closure. We are happy to be able to reopen with limited hours,” McCallum said.
