Third annual Veterans Stand Down Nov. 20-21
The Plumas County Veterans Collaborative is hosting its third annual Veterans Stand Down on Friday, Nov. 20 and Saturday, Nov. 21 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day at Springs of Hope Church at 59 Bell Lane. (Bring proof that you are a veteran.)
Veterans can receive a number of services and goods at this event:
Dental, vision and mental health services
Free eyewear
Presentations from a variety of groups
Military gear including a new pair of boots (Veterans only)
Clothing
Food
Free hot lunch
