Three FRC students test positive for COVID

Feather River College received notice that three FRC students have received positive test results.

Two of the students were tested as a requirement for student orientation. Upon receiving the test result, one student was not cleared to move into the dorms and returned to the home out of state.  The other student lives off campus and is isolating there.  Both of these students remain asymptomatic.

The third student is local to Plumas County, developed symptoms over the weekend, and went in for testing.  This student has not had interaction with FRC in over a week.

While not certain, college officials believe that two of these students were included in the Public Health announcement of positive cases yesterday due to their residence in Plumas County.  The third student is from out of state and would not have been included.
