Tire amnesty a success

A lot of people turned out for the tire amnesty event that Plumas County Public Works held in Greenville on Saturday, Sept. 28.

Public Works collected a total of 772 tires. By 11:45 a.m., Public Works staff closed the event because both trailers were filled.

The next tire amnesty event is planned in the spring.
