Tour homes with fire safe features this Saturday

The Plumas County Fire Safe Council invites the public to participate in the Wildfire Preparedness Tour. This tour highlights homes and properties throughout Plumas County with unique fire safe features. The tour is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 30, from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. The tour will focus on exterior home improvements, hazardous fuel reduction work and general wildfire preparedness. Masks are required.

How the tour works:

1.) Go to https://www.plumasfiresafe.org/tour.html.
2.) Browse the map of participating properties throughout Plumas County and choose which fire safe features interest you.
3.) Navigate to the provided address anytime between the hours of 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
4.) Meet with the property owner for an exterior tour, ask questions and make connections.
