Travel 36? Prepare for some delays

Caltrans announced that motorists should plan for longer delays on State Route 36 between Red Bluff and Susanville next week. Please plan accordingly and use QuickMap.dot.ca.gov for up-to-date roadway information. Please travel slowly and carefully in and around work zones and personnel working.

1. Good Fred Project (SR 36 between County Road A-21 and State Route 44, Lassen County): 24/7 traffic control is currently planned on the project between 7 a.m. Monday morning (June 13) through 7 p.m. the following Monday (June 20). Plan for up to 30-minute delays 24-hours a day during these dates.
2. Tree/chip operations on State Route 36, west of the junction with State Route 89 (Plumas County): Motorists should plan for 20-minute delays AT TIMES next week, Monday-Friday during daytime hours, for continued Dixie Fire recovery efforts.

3. Ponderosa Chip Seal Project (SR 36 between Paynes Creek and Mineral, Tehama County): Asphalt rubber chip seal project starts Monday, June 13 on this section of SR 36. Motorists should plan for up to 15-minute delays, Monday-Friday during daytime hours. This project is currently anticipated to be complete by early July.
