One-year-old Turk the turkey took a short trip from his home, located a couple blocks down the street to Martin’s R.V. Park on Martin Way on Friday, Jan. 5. Chester resident and local firefighter Ivan Eidhammer shared that Turk, his 8-year-old son Quintin’s pet, goes on an excursion on a “regular basis,” perhaps as a way to see the world and meet new people — or more likely to beg for handouts.
