Two FRC employees test positive for COVID

In keeping with its commitment to transparency, Feather River College announced that two employees tested positive for COVID over the weekend. ¬†“Each case is unique and is a reminder that the virus is around us, so even if we are vaccinated, we must remain vigilant and practice safe habits,” FRC President Kevin Trutna said in an email today.

One employee worked in the Facilities Department so staff members who were exposed have been sent home for quarantine and testing. That department will be operating at a very reduced staffing level for the next 5-10 days.

The other employee works part-time in a solo capacity, not regularly interacting with others.

These notices are provided to protect the identity of the individual while at the same time, provide enough information to allow those on campus to know if they have had significant contact with the positive individual.
