Two important meetings today: schools and skilled nursing
Plumas County residents are invited to attend two important meetings today, March 10: the joint Feather River College/Plumas Unified School District boards of trustees meeting to finalize new trustee areas, and the Plumas District Hospital meeting focused on building a new skilled nursing facility.
The joint meeting of the two educational institutions gets underway at 3 p.m. and is expected to last an hour, and then Plumas Unified and Feather River College split off to their own individual monthly meetings, at approximately 4 p.m. There is expected to be public comment on the PUSD side focusing on the negotiations between the school district employees and administration, which reportedly are not going well.
PDH meets at 4 p.m. with approximately the first hour devoted to the skilled nursing facility, and then the board continues with its regular business.
