Virtual Words & Music features Eastern Plumas band 86 Proof this Thursday

Plumas Arts is delighted to offer a Virtual Words & Music on Thursday, Feb. 17 at 7 p.m. featuring 86 Proof.

86 Proof is a band from Eastern Plumas County, made up of Danny Schell on vocals and guitar, Max Breedlove on bass and vocals, and Jim Corbelli on guitar and back up vocals. You may remember 86 Proof from the Plumas Arts 40th anniversary celebration at Dame Shirley Plaza in October 2021. In the last year they performed at the Sierra Pines Resort in Sierra City, at the Buckhorn Bar in Sierra City, and at the Brewing Lair in Blairsden.

86 proof is an eclectic group that has a sound that meshes together blues, bluegrass, country and rockabilly with a healthy dose of jamming. They all have a great time playing music and it shows! Their original songs and covers will have you stomping your feet. So, get out your stomping boots and get ready to have some fun at home or with a small group of friends or family with this toe tapping virtual program.

Plumas Arts is hoping to present a special March Saint Patrick’s Day Words & Music in-person at Patty’s Thunder Thursday March 17 at 7 p.m. Stay tuned!
