8 a.m., Sept. 18: The Walker Fire, which broke out two weeks ago today, is now 97 percent contained at 54,612 acres and nine structures destroyed, including two cabins. The fire originated 11 miles from Taylorsville and is still under investigation, but it has been determined to be human caused. Rain is predicted for today.
