Where in the world for the week of 3/18/20
Shelley and Dave Johns recently spent two great weeks in Loreto, Baja California Sur, Mexico. Dave had the opportunity to fish a couple days with his old friend Bob Jones, formerly of Quincy and now living in Loreto. Dave caught two yellowtail (not yellowfin) tuna); one was about 30 pounds (shown) and one was closer to 20 pounds. The fish were caught approximately 16 miles east of Loreto in the Mar de Cotez, just north of Isla Carmen and put up an amazing fight. It was also excellent table fare, shared Dave.
