Help conserve pristine acres by contributing to FRLT’s vision

Together, we have the unprecedented opportunity to conserve 75,000 more acres of globally unique wetlands, meadows and forests in the Feather River Watershed over the next four years. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to conserve the home we all love and to make lasting change for our children and grandchildren.

Help conserve those pristine acres over the next five years by contributing to FRLT’s 2020 Vision.

The Feather River Watershed is the largest watershed in the Sierra Nevada and contains the headwaters of the California State Water Project, a source of water for 23 million Californians.

Home to rural communities, 300 plus wildlife species, and breathtaking vistas, this little-known area of northeastern California is important to all people who care about clean and plentiful water; beautiful meadows, wetlands and forests; outstanding habitat for birds and wildlife; historical barns and working ranches; Native lands and traditions; exceptional outdoor recreation; and the opportunity for our children to experience Mother Nature.

To bring this vision into reality, we will raise a $1,000,000 Vision Fund to scale-up and grow FRLT’s organizational capacity to successfully conserve, steward and connect people to these priority lands and habitats.

Conserving and managing this additional 75,000 acres will require additional staff and infrastructure.

The 2020 Vision Fund is the catalyst required to scale-up FRLT’s organizational capacity that will provide sustainable funding into the future.

Please partner with us and contribute to FRLT’s 2020 Vision for a healthy, prosperous watershed.

Matching opportunity: Gifts of $5,000 or more will be generously matched 1:1 by the Morgan Family Foundation.

Donors who give $1,000 or more become members of FRLT’s Vision Circle.

Please consider a gift at the following level:

– Feather River Steward, $1,000-$4,999.

– Feather River Protector, $5,000-$9,999.

– Feather River Advocate, $10,000-$24,999.

– Feather River Leader, $25,000-$49,999.

With your help, we will conserve family ranches in Sierra Valley, PG&E owned lands in the Lake Almanor Basin for public benefit, and enhance community access and connection to beloved places like the Olsen Barn Meadow, Heart K Ranch, and the 2,500-acre Sierra Valley Preserve.
