Letter to the Editor: Better off?
Are you better off than you were two years ago? Let me count the ways … or not. Two years ago the big cities were using refrigerator trucks for morgues. I was not allowed to visit my mother under any circumstances. I was sneaking into the grocery store when it opened in the morning once a month, grabbing my food and dashing back home, fully masked.
Sure gas was cheap, because there was no place to go. Meetings, plans and parties were all cancelled or moved online.
But neither Joe Biden or Donald Trump is on my ballot this year… or are they?
