Letter to the Editor: Get vaccinated – what you don’t do hurts others

Unless you have been living in a cave these past months, it should be obvious that the Human Race is at war—at war with Covid, the cursed virus that keeps coming up with more and more curveballs to throw at us.

The home run we can throw back at it is one word—-VACCINES.

By getting vaccinated you protect yourself, your family, and the rest of us. My whole family is vaccinated. In the month of June 2021, every single death from Covid in the State of Maryland was in unvaccinated patients. This same grim fact repeats over and over throughout the world.

The terrifying possibility of this devious virus coming up with mutations that become resistant to our vaccines will become more of a reality if the virus can reproduce, which it can only do in our bodies.
We can take away our bodies as mutation sites by getting vaccinated.

I wish I could shout this from the rooftops—-GET VACCINATED!  GET VACCINATED! GET VACCINATED !
