Letter to the Editor: Grateful for those on the front lines

China, South Korea, Japan, New Zealand, and Australia have contained the Covid-virus and their economies are starting to grow. They changed their behavior patterns and with strict and effective containment measures kept the virus under control. The number of cases in the midwest are rising some is due to increased testing, but hospitalization is also on the rise. California is seeing a lower rate and somewhat decreasing. Although I am deeply frustrated and craving for normalcy I am still going to wear my mask and curtail my movements. Take-out is not as enjoyable as dining-in and getting essentials still makes me feel vulnerable, I feel grateful for those who are on the “front lines” everyday.
