Letter to the Editor: Thankful for this personal and public freedom

I would like to commend the members of our community for supporting this last vestige of personal and public freedom. Most communities no longer have a public venue like Plumas News. Let us cherish it like the last open artery through which our God given rights can flow from each of us in a public forum.

I urge you to ‘keep it clean” by asking questions lest it become a propaganda tool. A question I have for example is, why would someone from San Francisco, living in Nakoma with a Clio post office box represent themselves as a resident of Portola, a nice little town which is a cross section of working America. If America has cardiomyopathy (heart failure) and the ejection ratio (the amount of blood the heart pumps out compared to the amount in the heart) is down to 20% (enough to keep the heart and brain working but nothing else) it would behoove us to us wisdom when allowing various contaminants into this precious life-giving flow.
