Letter to the Editor: Tipping on to-go orders

Every single person who has ordered food “to go,” as that’s what we were fortunate enough to have after Covid first hit, well ~ WHO do you think cooks that food, RACES around to “plate” said food in go boxes — the entire process of simply OPENING their business to serve US ~ well ~ “To Go” orders — should be tipped as if one ate at a table in said restaurant. I witnessed same workers running twice as hard to fulfill your cravings for food. And did you TIP that person who handed you same?   Should do so now, and also for your past food. Be thankful you got a good meal and that MANY people busted their asses to make/serve it to you. TIP THEM ~ ESPECIALLY TO GO ORDERS & this WAY before fires.
