Letter to the Editor: Waste of fuel
I don’t care if either of the speeches, the one already delivered by Governor Newsom, or the speech scheduled to be delivered this evening by Gubernatorial Candidate Caitlin Jenner, rate second only to the Gettysburg Address; both visits are a total waste of fuel. Aviation fuel is top of the pyramid required to get either person to the nearest airport, then, at least three vehicles would be the security/support staff for a celebrity/politician to travel. Any extra vehicle on the road has the potential to impede fire traffic; what’s the point?
