Letter to the Editor: We, too, will not surrender
When people ask me “why would you stay surrounded by blackened earth and trees, a town down, )temporarily I would emphasize), and a challenge to visualize the future,” I would say look at Ukraine. Facing total disaster they refuse to abandon their homeland, their families, all they know and love. We get them. We too will not surrender the community we love to the enemy fire. We will overcome with the pioneer spirit that is our heritage and rebuild a strong future.
