Eagle Rodeo comes to fairgrounds Oct. 17-19
The Feather River College wranglers are inviting rodeo riders back to the Plumas-Sierra County Fairgrounds for the annual FRC Rodeo, the last West Coast Community College rodeo event of the season, being held Thursday through Saturday, Oct. 17-19.
The Eagles competed in Lassen for the Cougars annual event Sept. 27 and 28. FRC men came home with the first place honors for day one of the rodeo in Susanville.
Eagle wrangler Davis Mardesich really made a mark winning first place in the Mens All-around, Saddle Bronc and Team Roping Header. Mardesich also took sixth in Tie Down Roping and fourth in Steer Wrestling. Helping to take home first place for the mens team was Garrett Shell in Steer Wrestling and Bryar Byrne who won first place in Team Roping Heeler.
Shanna Gayski took home fourth place in Barrel Racing on day one of the Lassen Rodeo.
On day two in Lassen, Mardesich took second in Saddle Bronc. Cody Stewart earned second and Shell also placed in Tie Down Roping.
FRC’s Lane Wheeler took second in Team Roping Heeler and Dalton Rockwood placed in Steer Wrestling.
