Eagles have three home games

The Feather River College football team isn’t winning games yet during pre-season trials, but they are scoring well on the field and that makes things exciting for college fans.

The first conference game takes place on the FRC field with neighboring Butte Roadrunners on Saturday, Oct. 19, starting at 5 p.m.

The following week the Eagles travel to Shasta to take on the Knights then return to Quincy for two games: Saturday, Nov. 2, they will face the Sierra Wolverines at 1 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 9, they take on the Siskiyous Eagles at 5 p.m.

The final game for the FRC team will be Saturday, Nov. 16, at American River where the Eagles will hopefully polish off the Parrots. But that is a long way off. Eagle fans have all of conference to look forward to.

The Eagles are averaging more than 18 points per game. They average 148 yards passing  and 126 yards rushing. In pre-season challenges they scored 24 points against the Sequoia Giants on Sept. 7; 17 points against Diablo Valley Vikings on Sept. 14; and 14 points facing the fierce Laney Eagles on Sept. 20.

The Eagles last pre-season non-conference game is this Saturday, Oct. 5, when they travel to Santa Rosa to meet the Bears.
