Fundraising golf tournament comes to Mt Huff Saturday
The Greenville Rotary Club is sponsoring its second annual Rotary Golf Tournament on Saturday, Oct. 5, at the Mt. Huff Golf Course.
Tee time begins 9 a.m. The cost to participate is $60 per person, and lunch will be available for an additional $10 a person.
Each team will be provided with a golf cart, and “Mulligans” will be available to purchase, as well as drawing tickets.
The tournament is a four-person team “Scramble” format. It will also include a putting competition, longest drive competition, and a “closest to the hole” competition.
The Greenville Rotary Club supports a variety of local organizations and programs, including scholarships for local students, support for reading programs, Taylorsville Rodeo, Community Suppers, the sixth-grade field trip, Sober Grad Night, drive-thru immunization clinic, Indian Valley Food Pantry, County Fair 4-H Award, and this year, the County Fair animal barns upgrade.
In addition to the local causes, money from this club also goes to support the fight against polio.
Greenville Rotary hopes the community comes out and supports the event.
