Golf Results for the week of 10/30/19

Bailey Creek Women
The ladies club continued to play until the course closed in October. Guests were welcome to join them. Until next year then, good golfing on greener pastures.
Graeagle Meadows Men
The game Oct. 18 for GMGA was Low net and first place went to Chuck Franck with a 65. Second place was taken by Grant Wakefield, scoring 67, and third place was a tie with Jack Gilbert and Ron Eaton each having a 68. There was a total of seven skins taken with George Fraser taking hole 5, Jack Gilbert taking hole 3, Jim Oster taking hole 9, Bert Bellows getting 11 and Grant Mayfield grabbing holes 13, 15 and 16.
A 2-man best ball as its game took place Oct. 23. The victors on that day were the team of Bellows & Mayfield, with a 59, and coming in second was the team of Nichols & Hansen, with a score of 60. There were three skins taken with Bellows grabbing hole 3, Flynn nabbing hole 9 and Mayfield besting on number 15.

Mt Huff
The trees are beautiful with color; leaves are dropping and frost is delayed. That’s how you know golf season is coming to a close.
The Mt Hough Golf Club celebrated the season with the year-end event by having a golf and tri tip/chicken dinner.
The 2019 club champion was announced and Jeff Stevens accomplished something never done before. He was titled Super Champ because he won both handicap and scratch brackets. Congrats Jeff!
Although the season may be over, Mt Huff Golf Course is open year ‘round and Wednesday morning scrambles will continue. So all you golfers, when your course closes, come on over and join the diehards at Mt Huff. Scrambles start at 10 a.m. and everyone is welcome to participate. Call 284-6300 to join this fun tournament with prizes. Remember, Mt Huff Golf Course stays open all year!
Whitehawk Ranch Ladies We will be playing our Tuesday Ladies’ Day game until the course closes. The start of cooler weather sees many of our players headed for warmer climes! We look forward to our 2020 golf season at beautiful Whitehawk Ranch Golf Club.
