Mt. Huff Golf Course held its weekly scrambles, and with the weather improved, we had more golfers turn out. What a crew! The excitement ofspring around the corner had everyone is a joyous mood. Captains were chosen and after a blind draw of cards the teams hit the links. The sun was coming out, sounds of shots being made, the game was on.
Then the results: The top four teams were all one stroke apart. Starting in fourth place was the team ofIndian Falls resident Bob McIlroy, and Quincy residents Ron Williams and Jim Battagin.
The third place team was made up of Crescent Mills’ own Donny Hubbell, Quincy’s Tom Gossett and Greenville icon Dick Grace.
The second place team consisted of Quincy’s Matt Taborski and Don McConnell, and Westwood’s very own Jeff Stevens.
Achieving highest honors of the day was Meadow Valley’s legend Perry Bertocchi, Quincy’s star Ron Christensen and Genesee’s standout Darel Joseph.
