Hot, Hot, Hot, was Wednesday, June 21, play day, even with the weather hot and humid, we all enjoyed another round of golf with wonderful women.

Our game this day was “Criers,” with each player throwing out either the first or second nine holes. This was done after play, thank heavens, as we already new our scores before choosing.

Our winners of the day were: Flight 1 — First place, Joan Dickerson, also having a chip-in on Hole 5 and second place, Betty Dean; Flight 2 — First place Wynetta Regli, second place, Kim Holiday and third place, Diana Pallari. Ginger Birchfield finished the day with a Birdie on Hole 8.

Two weeks ago I mentioned that Mike Mattingly is kind enough to give “golfing pointers” before we tee off each Wednesday. The time for this has been changed to 9:30 a.m., giving us time to warm up before our game.

Again, we welcome all possible new players.
