Golfers still at it

Graeagle Men’s Golf Association

Graeagle Men’s Golf Association’s Friday golf continued  Nov. 19 in a cool and damp atmosphere. The skies drizzled off and, on all day, but never really rained. There were 16 brave souls who played despite the threatening weather. The game of the day was individual low net and skins. The game was modified to allow each contestant to throw out one hole’s net score for the round.

The result was interesting and resulted in some low scoring. First place was won by Mark Yuill with an adjusted net score of 61. Second was a tie between Burt Bellows and Grant Mayfield with an adjusted net score of 62. Fourth place was claimed by Norm Miller with a adjusted net score of 63. There were 8 skins awarded, with Grant Mayfield claiming three, and one each by George Fraser, Steve Peterson, Jim Reynolds, Ron Eaton and Burt Bellows.
