Graeagle Meadows Golf Course opens May 7
As spring begins to arrive, for some, thoughts of golf also begin to return. The golf season at Graeagle Meadows Golf Course is set to begin in a few weeks. Many Graeagle golf members are snowbirds who go south for the winter. Those who stay year-round have been playing; weather permitting, at Sierra Sage Golf Course in Northern Reno. Graeagle Men’s Golf Club “winter golf” will continue through March 30.
Graeagle Meadows Golf Course is planning to open Saturday, May 7. Head golf pro Bob Kline said the driving range is set to open Wednesday, May 4. A full season fee for a single golfer is $650, and a family fee is $1,000. The daily fee for members is $30, and twilight fee is $20. An unlimited membership includes the range and is $2,000 for a single, and $3,100 for a family. An annual cart fee is $900 for a single and $1,400 for a family. For those with their own carts, $650 for private cart trail fee.
The Graeagle Mens Golf Association Board of Directors has been busy planning the 2022 golf season. Actions include creating a website and preparing a schedule of events. The 50th annual member guest Invitational Tournament will be played July 29 and 30. New members will receive a discount on membership. Regular membership is $87, but until June 30, new members will pay $57. Anyone interested can contact Chuck Franck at 836-2104.
