Sole FRC track athlete runs number two in league
Kira Veach, No. 14, runs the 5,000-meter at the Woody Wilson Invite in Davis.
Kira Veach ran the 1,500 meters at Chico State University during the Chico Twilight meet April 14, with a time of 5 minutes, 45 seconds and ran the 5,000-meter event at the Woody Wilson Invite, with a time of 22 minutes, 14 seconds at University California Davis on April 20.
Veach is currently ranked second in the Golden Valley Conference for both events. The lone FRC track athlete will be competing in the Northern California trials Friday, May 5, and the Northern California finals May 13 at DeAnza College in Cupertino.
