Sun shines on Trojan courts

‘Tis the season for “love” on the Quincy High School tennis courts. Tennis teams from Paradise and Downieville traveled to QHS  on May 1 to challenge each other before all three teams head to Redding for finals.

“Each student athlete from QHS tennis gave their all today during every match and every point,” said head QHS tennis coach DJ Davis. The team experienced wins along with their losses. “… Overall each individual improved and overcame some personal challenges,” said Davis.

The hosting Quincy team was prepared to keep spectators comfortable with shade awnings erected along with their welcoming smiles. Coach said he appreciated those who came out to support the Trojans. “I was very proud of how my team performed,” said Davis.

After matches in Chico on May 8, the teams all head to Redding for championships May 14-15.
